John Melcon joined Lancashire in January 2007, has extensive experience in the international insurance and reinsurance markets with the last 8 years based in the Middle East and most recently as a General Manager of Al Khazna Insurance Company psc of the UAE. He is a fluent Arabic speaker. John heads Lancashire's Middle East operation, which is based in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The Company - Lancashire Marketing Services (Middle East) Limited - is authorized to conduct insurance intermediation by the Dubai Financial Services Authority.

Giles Hussey

Giles Hussey joined Lancashire in November 2008 to lead the Dubai subsidiary of Lancashire. Giles has extensive experience in the risk and insurance industry and was previously with Marsh as the Energy Practice Leader for Middle East & North Africa. He has held various roles within Marsh in South Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East with management responsibility for Marsh’s Marine and Energy practices in those territories. Prior to joining Marsh, Giles worked with JLT as a London insurance market broker.
