We cover Upstream Operational (Physical Damage/Control of Well/Loss of Production Income/Third Party Liability), Upstream Construction All Risks (Physical Damage/Third Party Liabilities) and Downstream Operational (Physical Damage/Business Interruption) business. We have the ability to offer standalone catastrophe coverage for wind, earthquake and flood as well as standalone business interruption coverage.

We can write on either a quota share or excess basis for both Upstream Operational and Upstream Construction business. We prefer excess layers on Downstream Operational business but will consider quota share on a case-by-case basis as an exception or for an Upstream/Downstream composite policy.

We are a major energy writer with substantial capacity.

To underwrite energy business, we require the following information:

• total values insured with PD/LOPI/BI split
• asset type and description, five year loss record
• lead underwriter, policy terms and conditions, year on year rate
