Lancashire Holdings Limited ("Lancashire" or the "Company") announces the appointment of Peter Clarke as a Non-Executive Director. The appointment is to be effective from 9 June 2014.

Peter Clarke was Group Chief Executive of Man Group plc, a leading provider of alternative investment products and solutions, between April 2007 and February 2013, having joined in 1993. He was appointed to the board in 1997 and served in a variety of roles, including Head of Corporate Finance and Corporate Affairs and Group Company Secretary before becoming the Group Finance Director in 2000. During this period he was responsible for investing in and developing one of the leading providers of third party capital insurance and reinsurance products. He is a qualified solicitor, having practised at Slaughter and May, and has experience in the investment banking industry, working at Morgan Grenfell and Citibank.
